Motel Kandiski (est. 2009) Paul Johnson had an idea to open a Motel based on the artist Wassily Wassilyevich Kandinsky. Kandinsky was a synesthete, he saw sound and could hear colour and form. The Motel was established in 2009 with the show En-Suite curated by Nathaniel Pitt it is a fictional manifestation of a Motel comprising of a serial adventure of performance and live art nights, that, over time make up a complete Motel room by room. The Motel will also collect curators as guests, each event the guests are asked to participate once again.
